Canastota High School Wall of Distinction
 
The Canastota Central School District is pleased to announce the creation of the Canastota High School Wall of Distinction.

The Wall of Distinction has been created to allow the District the ability to recognize and honor former Canastota graduates who have distinguished themselves during or after their school career and/or made significant contributions to their communities.  Achievements may include, but not limited to, areas of Profession, Athletics, Commerce, Religion, Arts or Community Service.  The Wall will be located in the tunnel outside the High School Gymnasium.
 
A committee comprised of alumni, school board members, administration, staff and community have developed a nomination form to be used to nominate individuals for consideration for induction to the Wall of Distinction.  Nominations must be received by February 1st of each year and inductees will be honored on Homecoming weekend.  The first induction ceremony will be held at Homecoming in October of 2009.

Recognize and commemorate Canastota Central School graduates
who have made outstanding contributions in the areas of, but not
limited to profession, athletics, community service, commerce,
religion and arts.
 
This Wall of Distinction is intended to serve as a vision and source
of pride for our community and our student body.
