About South Side Elementary School
SSES is located on High Street, just a couple of blocks off of Peterboro Street. South Side houses second and third graders and we currently have five sections of second and five sections of third grade. Our total population is just shy of 200 students.
We are very fortunate to have wonderful students, a caring and dedicated professional staff and supportive parents who work together to create a positive learning community. We are also thankful for our very active and generous PTA that provides countless resources and opportunities for our P-3 population. We strive to create safe, comfortable teaching and learning environments where children feel they belong and where academic, social and emotional needs can be addressed.
