Do you love cooking and have a creative touch in the kitchen? Canastota CSD is looking for a Cook Manager to lead our food service team and serve nutritious, high-quality meals to our students every day!
What You’ll Do:
- Meal prep and service for ~1,200 students
- Ensure compliance with Child Nutrition Services (CNS) & Dept. of Health (DOH) regulations
- Supervise, train, and support food service staff
- Maintain top-notch food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
- Menu planning, inventory, and ordering
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in food service or related credentials
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
