Important Safety Drill Notice

As part of our ongoing commitment to student safety and emergency preparedness, the Canastota Central School District will conduct off-site evacuation drills during the week of June 1, 2025.

These drills are part of a statewide requirement per New York State Education regulations (Section 155.17), which ensures that parents and guardians are informed in advance.

During the drill, students will calmly exit their school building and walk to a designated off-site evacuation location. Staff and teachers will be with them every step of the way to ensure safety, supervision, and accountability.
